Crabapple with Blackbird - Greetings Card

Featuring my original Crabapple with Blackbird linocut design, this greetings card is left blank inside, making it suitable for birthdays, thank you notes, or simply keeping in touch.

Hidden amongst a tangle of branches, the blackbird sits quietly at the centre of this design. I used four layers of colour to capture the bright crab apples against the soft pink tones of a winter sky, with the final layers bringing the branches and the bird into focus.

The cards are reproduced from a scan of the finished print, preserving the detail and texture of the original artwork.
