About

I am an artist and printmaker based in Aberlady, East Lothian, where I create original hand-printed linocuts and and black and white line drawings. 

Originally from Yorkshire, I was raised in Oxfordshire before moving to Edinburgh to study Fine Art and History of Art at the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2017.

Working from my home studio, I draw inspiration from the birds, plants and landscapes that surround me, combining bold composition with the rich textures of traditional relief printmaking. Each of my linocut designs is hand carved and printed in small editions, celebrating the beauty and character of the natural world. I also produce black and white line drawings featuring cityscapes and landscapes from my travels.

Following my degree show and graduation, I exhibited in the Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition in 2017. I then spent some time working in collections management at Abbotsford (the home of Sir Walter Scott), the National Galleries of Scotland and the National Trust for Scotland, before setting up my studio practice.

I have since exhibited as part of the Aberlady Open Studios (2025 and 2026), at Rock & Bird, North Berwick (2025) and in the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club's Impressions from the Garden exhibition (2026). I also teach introduction to linocut printmaking in my Aberlady studio.
