Hellebore - Greetings Card

Featuring my original Hellebore linocut design, this greetings card is reproduced from one of my original hand-carved linocut prints. The card is left blank inside, making it suitable for birthdays, thank you notes, or simply keeping in touch.

This print was inspired by an elegant hellebore growing in my garden. I wanted to capture the contrast between its delicate white petals and the rich lime greens and deep purples at the heart of the flower. Built up over four printed layers, the colours work from light to dark, allowing the carved detail and subtle colour variations to emerge with each pass through the press.

The cards are reproduced from a scan of the finished print, preserving the detail and texture of the original artwork.
