Featuring my original Crocus linocut design, this greetings card is reproduced from one of my original hand-carved linocut prints. The card is left blank inside, making it suitable for birthdays, Mother’s Day, thank you notes, or simply keeping in touch.
Among the first flowers to appear each year, crocuses are a welcome sign that spring is on its way. I wanted to capture the moment they emerge through the soil, bringing new life to the garden after winter. Printed in a single shade of soft blue, the design focuses on the delicate shapes of the flowers and leaves, allowing the carved detail to take centre stage.
Each card is printed from a high-resolution scan of the finished print, preserving the detail and texture of the original artwork.
