Clifton Suspension Bridge spans the Avon Gorge at the edge of the city of Bristol. This drawing features a section of the iconic bridge alongside the steeply sloping streets of Clifton, a leafy suburb of Bristol known for its Georgian architecture.

I work from sketches that I have made, refining them by focussing on patterns in the landscape. I use a fine line pen to finish my drawings. My sketchbook accompanies me on my travels and I enjoy capturing the architecture and surroundings of different cities.
