Buddleja - Greetings Card

Featuring my original Buddleja (often referred to as a Butterfly Bush) design, this greetings card is the perfect addition to your stationary drawer. Left blank inside, it's suitable for birthdays, thank you notes, or simply keeping in touch.

This print was inspired by the buddleja growing in our front garden. Its tall flower spikes and gently arching stems make it a striking feature through the summer months, while the many tiny flowers create a wonderfully intricate subject for a linocut. I kept the colour palette close to the plant’s natural hues, allowing the carved detail to take centre stage.

The cards are reproduced from a scan of the finished print, preserving the detail and texture of the original artwork.
