Delicate chequerboard patterns of Fritillary butterflies dance across the surface of a billowing white Buddleja bush. The orange centres of the flowers are a perfect match for the fluttering wings of the butterflies.

🎨 How I Made It: This is a reduction linoprint, and is made up of three layers. I started with the delicate pearly grey of the flowers. The next layer fades from a burnt orange to the buttery yellow of the inside of the butterflies' wings. The final layer adds the detail in a dark chocolate brown. Each layer was printed on my Woodzilla printing press in my garden studio. This was a small run of 25 prints, so you'll be owning one of a select few pieces.
