I then experiment with a wide palette of colours before settling on the perfect combination for my prints. Then the fun really begins! I apply specialist Schmincke Ink to my Lino plates using a printing roller. This ensures an even application of ink. Opening my Wood Zilla cherry red printing press I position the Lino plate before carefully laying my pre-cut paper on top. I then apply a few layers of padding before securing the press and applying just enough pressure for the ink to transfer to the paper.
