{"product_id":"helenium-linocut-print","title":"Helenium - Linocut Print","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis print is based on a beautiful clump of Helenium flowers I spotted at Amisfield Walled Garden near Haddington. \u003cspan\u003eThe rusty orange flowers reminded me of ballet tutus dancing on top of delicate green foliage.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIt was produced using two reduction linocut plates, which allowed me to add a total of eight layers of colour to the print. I used the first plate to build up the yellow, orange and browns of the flowers themselves, with the second plate then adding the light and dark greens that form the background.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003ePrinted by hand in my garden studio, this edition is limited to just 21 prints.
